Other pests in our region

The biggest problem with pests is that they move in and establish quickly, often before we notice they’re there.

Because weed seeds get moved by wind, water, people, vehicles and animals, and pest animals can move all by themselves, it is important to be aware of and recognize non-native plants and animals early, and take action before they establish. Report pest animal sightings at FeralScan, and know how to identify and control invasive plants.
