Port Curtis Harbour Watch Wetland Water Quality Workshop

February 2nd is World Wetlands Day and is the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the International RAMSAR convention on Wetland Protection.

Harbour Watch will be holding a Wetlands Water Quality Workshop at Lake Callemondah so the community can learn more about the health and monitoring of these crucial environments.
This Citizen Science community event will allow us to continue our work collecting first-hand water quality data in the Gladstone Harbour.

WHEN: Tuesday, 2 February 2021
TIME: 9am until 12.30pm
WHERE: Joe Joseph Park, Callemondah. Off Blain Drive
ACTIVITIES: Water Quality Monitoring, Water Bug Collection and Identification, Wetlands In-formation
WHAT TO BRING: Water Bottle, Sun Safe Clothing, Covered footwear,
