Community Volunteer Morning – Port Curtis

Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland – Capricorn Branch, would love your help to remove debris left behind by Debbie at Duck Pond Environmental Reserve, Port Curtis. The reserve has been managed for 18 years by local volunteers who have helped to regenerate water plants and woodland for wildlife.

Jobs we need help with include removing grass and woody debris from boundary fences and the bridge, watering riparian plantings, and flagging rubbervine seedlings.

When: 8-11am

Where: please contact us for a map and directions

BYO: hat, drinking water, gloves and sunscreen. Please wear closed shoes and sun-smart clothing.
