Bringing nature back – Mount Archer Community Workshops

Roll up your sleeves, bring your family and friends and help bring nature back to our magnificent Mount Archer.
Join Council’s Environmental Sustainability Team, Capricornia Catchments Inc., Native Plants Capricornia, Birdlife Capricornia and Darumbal Enterprises for a series of workshops at Fraser Park. Be inspired with practical take-home actions to bring nature back to your community.

Each session includes the following workshops:

  • Hands-on planting of native plants in a nominated area;
  • Flora talk about native plants found in the area, their significance and role as wildlife habitat;
  • Fauna talk about the importance of local wildlife and living with wildlife;
  • Discover the cultural significance of Mt Archer (Nurim) and local bush tucker with guided walks with Darumbal Enterprises.
Pre-registration

There are 4 sessions available, with staggered start and finishing times. Running time for each session is approximately 2.5 hours. This event has limited spots available, therefore pre-registration is required. Register each attendee to a session via this link.  Please advise of any dietary or additional requirements during the registration process.

Please note each group is limited to 20 people per session.
