Myles Ballentine
Myles has been dryland farming at Banana full time since early 1993 where he joined his parents to expand their grazing enterprise with the purchase of two additional properties over the next decade.
Adapting successful cropping techniques to meet local conditions on a dryland broad acre scale, Myles pushed the boundaries of conventional farming traditions and become one of the early adopters of chickpea production in 1995. With a passionate desire to assist landholders to improve their landcare practices, Myles has been a board member for Dawson Catchment Coordinating Association for the last four years. Myles was elected to the FBA Board in October 2017.
