FBA is a not-for-profit organisation and receives funds through various Australian and Queensland government programs as well as one-off grants, fee-for-service and occasional bequeaths.
We work closely with funding bodies and strategic partners to ensure resources are invested in projects and activities that align with National, State and regional objectives, provide best value for money and return the greatest benefits to the Fitzroy environment and community. We encourage expressions of interest from organisations and investors keen to establish projects that improve natural resources and sustainable practices in the Fitzroy Region.
Our primary funders:
Two key funding initiatives helping Fitzroy communities and land managers look after our natural resources are the National Landcare Program and Reef Trust.
Funding from the Natural Resource Management Investment Program is helping our region achieve State environmental objectives.
Partners
FBA works closely with government, industry and a range of other individuals and organisations to deliver projects and programs that promote sustainability and protect our natural resources.
The work we do involves people from all walks of life and sectors, and our projects and programs address everything from localised issues to international concerns.
