On Tuesday 11 October, members of the Reef Alliance, which includes
Fitzroy Basin Association, launched the Reef Rescue Impact
Statement in Canberra.
Reef Rescue is a $200 million initiative under the Australian
Government's Caring for our Country funding for natural resource
management activity in catchments that drain to the Great Barrier
Reef.
Two local landholders joined FBA CEO Suzie Christensen at
Parliament House in Canberra to launch the document showing the
enormous success of the program in improving water quality flowing
to the reef.
