Five sub regions make up the Fitzroy Basin region, with field
officers and sub-regional groups supporting communities across all
of them.
Boyne - Calliope
In the Boyne Calliope sub region FBA field officers in
collaboration with local government and community groups are
involved in a range of activities including: implementing the
Southeast Queensland Rainforest Recovery Plan; assisting
landholders and Calliope Shire Council in strategic weed control
and other land condition and water quality improvement measures;
funding a coordinator for an industry initiative to monitor impacts
on Gladstone Harbour and environs.
Three Rivers: Isaac/Connors and Mackenzie sub region
In the Isaac/Connors and Mackenzie sub region FBA field officers
help on farm with property planning for improved land condition and
