Project grants
Have you been stewing on an innovative idea where the $$$ required
for initial implementation have made you baulk? Let us know about
this idea and we will see if we can help.
There is no minimum funding amount, but FBA provides funding on a
co-contribution basis, where we will provide up to a dollar for
every dollar or in-kind contribution you or your project partners
make.
Complete an Expression of Interest by Friday 23 May 2008
to have your project considered. Each project will be assessed on
its merits. If your project meet the guidelines, you will be asked
to develop a full project application.
Innovation Showcase
There is an old adage that states
'you don't know what you don't know'.
We want to capitalise on this fact by calling upon those willing
to share their innovative approaches with the region. We want case
studies of innovative approaches that have led to better management
of natural resources while maintaining profitability. We provide a
small financial incentive to compensate for the time it takes to
share your story.
Fitzroy Fellowship
The Innovation Fund Fitzroy Fellowship aims to encourage people
with a passion for sustainable land management and improving the
state of our environment, by allowing them to undertake personal
development. This should involve an activity such as study,
training or voluntary work in an emerging and innovative area that
improves your capacity to be ‘champion’ of natural
resource management. The Bursary will enable people to discover new
information and knowledge from anywhere in the world that will help
them lead the way in CQ.
Application and guidelines forms will be available soon!
