Applications Close 16 July 2007. The Australian Government’s new AgFund has been set up to help primary producers manage change and improve profitability. AgFund will match funding from local producer groups of up to $50,000 to support projects that help producers tackle industry issues at the local level. The merit-based grants target agricultural, fishing and forestry groups that are looking to turn ideas into practical action.

Envirofund Round 10 - Coastal and Marine Funding

Coastal and Marine Funding Closing - 5pm AEST on 20th July In May 2007, the Australian Government announced an additional $4 million in Envirofund to protect and conserve Australia’s coastal and marine environments. All groups repairing and protecting our coastline are encouraged to apply, so get an application in by 5pm AEST on 20th July. Projects eligible for Envirofund grants include native vegetation planting, fencing to protect sensitive areas, dune rehabilitation, indigenous projects that pass on caring for country techniques and traditional knowledge, skill development, awareness-raising activities and monitoring of water quality, species or habitats.
