There are lots of opportunities to get involved in practical ways
that can help the environment. What each individual does personally
does make a difference to the health of our environment.

Celebrate WED:
The Capricorn Conservation Council is holding a 'Community Day Out'
to celebrate World Environment Day.

Join a group:
Group's like the CCC are always looking for new members with a
passion for conservation.
If you're interested in getting your hands dirty in a more
practical way you might like to join a local
Landcare, Bushcare or Coastcare group
. These groups meet regularly for to learn about caring for our
natural assets as well as undertake physical works like weeding and
spraying.
