FBA CQ Mining Forum Report
FBA staff worked with the Queensland Resources Council (QRC), staff from government agencies involved in regulation of mining activities, and mining company representatives to develop an appropriate agenda and forum format. The forum was conducted at the Emerald Memorial Club on 18th October 2006 and was attended by 110 people from the mining, agricultural, and government sectors. [pdf 105.2 kb]

FBA CQ Mining Forum

18 October 2006 – As well as providing senior managers and environment officers from mining companies with the opportunity to share their vision for the future, the Forum provided local landholders and Traditional Owners with the opportunity to voice their fears and air concerns about impacts to agriculture and the environment.
