The Regional Investment Strategy (RIS) serves as an addendum to the
CQSS2 plan. The RIS outlines the region’s priority
investments in natural resource management sought for 2004-2005.
The CQSS2 RIS is designed to contribute to all of the resource
condition targets set in the plan, and thus the protection of the
regions critical assets and the services they provide. Each of the
minimum matters for targets and national outcomes will be
addressed, along with matters of regional importance. Eight key
programs are proposed in the RIS to deliver outcomes.
