The Boyne Calliope Sub Region (BCSR) promotes and coordinates
natural resource management in the
Boyne and
Calliope Catchments which include the areas of Gladstone, Calliope, Boyne Valley and
Mt Larcom/Bracewell. The region extends from Glassford Creek in the
south to Rundle Hills and Curtis Island in the north and includes a
large majority of the Gladstone Regional Council shire.
BCSR aims to increase on-ground action by working with groups of
neighbouring landholders and providing financial incentives,
technical advice and information.
The BCSR is one of five sub regional groups across the Fitzroy
Basin working in partnership with the
Fitzroy
Basin Association Inc (FBA).
