Since its origins in 1995, the Fitzroy Basin Association has grown
to become a vibrant organisation, focused on both sustainable
development and natural resource management.
It is proud of its history and the grass roots support that helped
shape the organisation.
Today, the FBA still aims to:
- Listen to the grass roots, by being responsive to community needs
and staying in touch with what's happening on-ground
- Establish and maintain strong regional and sub-regional
partnerships
- Work with the community to carry out the actions in the 'Central
Queensland Strategy for Sustainability'
- Be open and accountable to community
